Pete Soens

Founding Partner

Pete Soens is a Founding Partner of SSH Real Estate. Pete co-founded SSH Real Estate in 2002 from its predecessor company, Seligsohn Hess Company. Under Pete’s visionary leadership the company grew from a boutique brokerage firm with 6 employees into a fully integrated brokerage, investment, and management firm with 75 employees.

During his career Pete has completed billions of dollars in real estate transaction spanning brokerage and principal investing across multiple product types and capital structures. Pete continues to lead the company’s growth and is actively involved in all phases of the business. In conjunction with his partners, Gregory Muller and Michael Montemuro, Pete coordinates the long-term strategy for the growth and continued success of SSH Real Estate.

Pete grew up in the real estate business as his family had owned Avalon Real Estate Agency. Pete lived in Avalon, NJ before moving to Hilton Head S.C. for his high school years. Pete graduated from Catholic University where he earned a degree in Financial Management and scored over 1,000 points for the basketball team. Pete lives in Center City Philadelphia and also spends time in Avalon and Hilton Head where he has investments. Two of his main hobbies are playing tennis and surfing.

Pete graduated from Catholic University with a B.A. in Financial Management.
