AlphaCare, which had been known as Alpha Care Pregnancy Services, sold its 5,706-square-foot building in Philadelphia for an undisclosed price. It consists of two adjoining properties at 1601-1603 Lombard St. and 424 S. 16th St. and contains apartment and office space. The property was fully leased to three tenants at the time of sale. The buyer was Cross Properties, which plans to redevelop it. AlphaCare bought the property for $560,000 in 2004, according to Philadelphia property records. The organization is relocating to 3809 Lancaster Ave., which is adjacent to a property where Kermit Gosnell operated an infamous illegal abortion clinic. Adam Gillespie of SSH Real Estate oversaw the sale.
